Do you have a WordPress installation powered by a Turnkey image? This article explains some modifications which you can make specifically for this use case.
Remove Footer
To remove the footer (re)move the /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/substitute.conf file. Next, you have to create a new version using touch /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/substitute.conf. Finally restart the Apache server using systemtcl restart apache2.
