Fix Video Playback In OnTopReplica
Are you using OnTopReplica and watching a stream, a YouTube video, or another video? Do you notice that when you switch to another application your video pauses? This article will explain how to fix that for Chrome or Chromium-based browsers (like Brave).
Prerequisites
It is assumed that you have OnTopReplica installed and are using a Chrome or Chromium-based browser for video playback. For this article, the Brave browser is used.
Fix Video Playback
The issue comes from the browser pausing the playback of videos. To solve this open your browser and go to chrome://flags or brave://flags, and search for the following:
- For Chrome: #web-contents-occlusion
- For Brave: #calculate-native-win-occlusion
Disable it and restart your browser. If you now use OnTopReplica and have a video open the playback will continue.
